Re-derivation X1.5 · (SG) for GL₂ₘ/Sp₂ₘ re-derived from Lemmas 2–3 alone; A4-13's open cells now decided
proved audit: correct
Second audit: correct. I re-derived Theorem 5.7. The slices S_{d,c} are finite; Lemma 3 keeps the support inside the slice and above b in dominance; the central shift sends b'' to b''+2c; Lemma 2 makes the diagonal entry ≥1; the downward induction works inside each finite slice (the per-b choice c=⌊b_m/2⌋ also stays in the slice); and the SL corollary follows by the degree-0 coset bijection and Pf=1. Theorem 5.7 does not use the false table entries, and the S_{4,0} matrix is lower triangular with nonzero diagonal (checked at q=2, 3, 5). Its verdicts are right: Theorem 5.7 holds as stated, and Summary 4.13 holds with its symplectic cells updated. 'Under Theorem 4.6's hypotheses' correctly covers D0–D4The standing inputs of the sheaf–function dictionary over F̄_q, p ≠ 2: D0 Chen–Yi's orbit geometry; D1 traces of Frobenius and the perverse t-structure; D2 decomposition of Satake objects into shifted IC sheaves; D3 Lang's theorem; D4 unitriangularity of Satake traces; D5 comparison of F̄_q with C. and q odd.
Theorem 5.7 depends on Lemma 5.6 only through Lemmas 2 and 3, re-proved in Correction X1.2, so it holds as stated over every \(F\); Summary 4.13 used Dead end 4.10 only for an 'open' status and a gap, which are now discharged, so it holds with its symplectic cells updated.
Re-derivation X1.5.
- Theorem 5.7 holds as stated. \(\mathcal H_K\cdot\varphi_0=C_K\) for \(\mathrm{GL}_{2m}/\mathrm{Sp}_{2m}\), every \(m\ge1\), and (SG) for \(\mathrm{SL}_{2n}/\mathrm{Sp}_{2n}\), every \(n\), over every non-archimedean local field \(F\), with no hypothesis (A)“Under (A)”: assuming all of Sakellaridis's assumptions (A1)–(A5) for X at the given p-adic place, so that his Theorem 8.0.2 applies.. The only inputs from the erroneous step Lemma 5.6 are its Lemmas 2 and 3; the false table entries are not used.
- Summary 4.13 holds with a named change. Its theorem list and its answer are unchanged. In its Table 1 update, the row \(\mathrm{GL}_{2m}/\mathrm{Sp}_{2m}\) (\(m\ge3\)), \(\mathrm{SL}_{2n}/\mathrm{Sp}_{2n}\) (\(n\ge3\)) changes from "functions over \(\mathbb F_q(\!(t)\!)\): open (Dead end 4.10, Objection 4.12)" to "holds (Theorem 5.7)", and its sheaf cell from "unknown; decided by (SG) via Theorem 4.6" to "equal, by Theorem 4.6 under that theorem's hypotheses". The gap item "the finite computations of Dead end 4.10" is discharged: they are corrected in Correction X1.3 and are no longer needed.
- Orbits. By the symplectic Smith form over \(\mathcal O\) (any \(F\)), \(K\backslash X(F)\leftrightarrow\{b\in\mathbb Z^m:b_1\ge\dots\ge b_m\}\), \(O_b=K\cdot x_b\); all nondegenerate alternating forms are \(G(F)\)-equivalent, the orbits are compact open (Smith invariants are locally constant), and their indicators span \(C_K\).
- Slices. \(S_{d,c}=\{b:|b|=d,\ b_m\ge2c\}\) is finite (\(2c\le b_m\le b_1\le d-2c(m-1)\)), and \(b\in S_{|b|,\lfloor b_m/2\rfloor}\).
- Triangular translates. Put \(f_b=T_{(c,\dots,c)}\ast T_{\lambda^*(b-2c)}\). The central operator \(T_{(c,\dots,c)}\) pulls back along \(\omega\mapsto\varpi^{-2c}\omega\) and sends \(\mathbf 1_{O_{b''}}\) to \(\mathbf 1_{O_{b''+2c}}\) (Computation 5.5, step 3). By Lemma 3 (Correction X1.2, step 3), \(T_{\lambda^*(b-2c)}\ast\varphi_0\) lives on labels \(b''\ge0\) with \(|b''|=|b|-2cm\) and \(b''\ge_{\mathrm{dom}}b-2c\); after the shift, \(f_b\ast\varphi_0\) lives on \(\{b'\in S_{d,c}:b'\ge_{\mathrm{dom}}b\}\), and its coefficient at \(b\) is \(N(\lambda^*(b-2c),b-2c)\ge1\) by Lemma 2 (Correction X1.2, step 2).
- Induction. In the finite poset \((S_{d,c},\ge_{\mathrm{dom}})\), induct downward from the maximal elements: \(f_b\ast\varphi_0\) minus the already obtained \(\mathbf 1_{O_{b'}}\), \(b'>_{\mathrm{dom}}b\), is a nonzero multiple of \(\mathbf 1_{O_b}\). So \(\mathbf 1_{O_b}\in\mathcal H_K\varphi_0\) for every \(b\), and (SG) follows from step 1. This is the induction that Theorem 5.7, step 4, states inside \(S_{d,c}\); no global order with finite lower sets is needed (Audit 7.23).
- The \(\mathrm{SL}\) corollary. \(\{\operatorname{Pf}=1\}\) is one \(\mathrm{SL}_{2n}(F)\)-orbit; \(O_b\cap\{\operatorname{Pf}=1\}\) is one \(K_{\mathrm{SL}}\)-orbit (adjust by \(\operatorname{diag}(u,1,\dots,1)\)); \(K_{\mathrm{SL}}t^\lambda K_{\mathrm{SL}}/K_{\mathrm{SL}}\to Kt^\lambda K/K\) is bijective for \(|\lambda|=0\); \(T_\lambda\ast\varphi_0\) lives on \(\operatorname{val}\operatorname{Pf}=|\lambda|\). So the degree-zero part of (SG) for \(\mathrm{GL}_{2n}\) is (SG) for \(\mathrm{SL}_{2n}\). All counts depend only on \(q\): the theorem holds for every \(F\).
- Where the false entries sat. For \(m=3\), \(S_{4,0}\) gives the matrix of Correction X1.2, statement 2, lower triangular for \(\ge_{\mathrm{dom}}\) with diagonal \(q^3(q+1),\ q^3(q+1)^2,\ q^3(q+1)(q^2+1),\ q^3(q+1)^2(q^2+1)\). Lemma 5.6's wrong diagonal values were also nonzero, and the proof uses only nonvanishing, so Theorem 5.7 holds as stated.
- Summary 4.13. It cites Dead end 4.10 only for the status "open over \(\mathbb F_q(\!(t)\!)\)" of the rows \(\mathrm{GL}_{2m}/\mathrm{Sp}_{2m}\) (\(m\ge3\)), \(\mathrm{SL}_{2n}/\mathrm{Sp}_{2n}\) (\(n\ge3\)), and in its gap. By Correction X1.3, Dead end 4.10's blocked status for the in-box translates is right (four values corrected), and its label \((1,1,1,1,0,0)\) is reached with one larger-box translate. By steps 1–5, (SG) holds over \(\mathbb F_q(\!(t)\!)\) for all these rows, so Theorem 4.6 (whose hypotheses \(G^\theta=\mathrm{Sp}_{2m}\), \(Z_{G^\theta}(S)=\mathrm{SL}_2^m\) connected hold) gives the sheaf cell, as in Audit 7.23. The theorems Theorem 4.6–Theorem 4.11 cited by Summary 4.13, and its answer paragraph, do not use Dead end 4.10.
